title: Inductive Logic Programming and Grammar Learning


abstract:


This talks gives a brief introduction to Inductive
Logic Programming and describes its application to the
supervised learning of unification grammars. If time
permits, I will also describe some experiments in
using ILP to learn `domain theories' for syntactic and
pragmatic disambiguation.

and UCD (University College Dublin).
