This talk will introduce you to the IBM Dictionaries

linguistic analysis tools in 28 different
languages. The talk will describe the details of the
tools we develop and how/where these tools are used
within products shipping from IBM and other
companies. It will introduce some samples of the
problems we must deal with so that you can get a
flavour for the type of work we do. The talk will also
briefly discuss the history of the group and vision
for what we will be doing in the future. This talk

out more about career path available in industry
and/or researchers interested in collaborative
research projects.
