WORKSHOP Annoucement
The Ontology of Moral Hazard in Finance
Our work in applied ethics, finance studies and sentiment analysis, has
motivated us to organise a workshop on the ontology of moral hazards: we
wish to explore the scope and limits of state intervention in the conduct
of sections of the global village to undertake excessive risks. We have
invited international experts to frame the discussion. A multidisciplinary
audience from the worlds of computer science, business, ecumenics,
finance, linguistics, philosophy, psychology, semantics, sociology,
theology and religions will actively participate in the workshop, which
will be held at the annual INFINITI conference at Trinity College, Dublin.
The workshop, ?The Ontology of Moral Hazard in Finance?, will be held on
June 8th, 2009, between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm, at the Emmet Lecture Theatre,
Arts Block, Trinity College, Dublin. The Workshop details are attached
with this e-mail.
The workshop has been organised under the auspices of INFINITI 2009, the
7th Conference on International Finance at Trinity College, Dublin. The
workshop is free but please register beforehand at
