L&H is a major research company in the field of speech and language
technology. Currently, over 80 computational linguists are doing research
on more than 20 languages. We offer an added value to both linguistic
research and to the personal development of linguists.
Our areas of interest are: text-to-speech, automatic speech recognition,
machine translation, intelligent content management, digital speech
compression and artificial intelligence.
L&H opens new professional horizons for (computational) linguists who would
like to broaden their knowledge and who want to invest themselves in the
research and development of cutting-edge technologies. In order to
guarantee the quality of our products, we are continiously looking for the
best linguists, who are eager to play an important role in our technologies
group, the research and development core of Lernout & Hauspie. All
linguistic research is done in our headquarters in Ieper, Belgium, which
ensures a continous flow of knowledge sharing between our researchers.
