As a Dialog Design expert (focused on Latin Portuguese and Spanish
Language applications), you will be part of a dynamic team that
envisions, creates and optimizes dialogs for Nuance's next-generation
interactive speech recognition systems.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with internal and external customers
- Refine customer requirements
- Design and refine challenging interactive dialogs for easy-to-use
applications
- Collect data and perform analysis
- Perform system tuning
Required:
- Interest in speech recognition technology
- Computer-Human Interface skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Analytical problem solving ability
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Native speaker of Portuguese/Spanish as spoken in Latin America
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Ideal:
- Familiarity with software industrial design cycle
- Speech recognition, speech coding, pattern recognition, DSP
- Software coding experience (Java, Unix, C, C++, NT)
- Experience with Dialog Design
- Experience in data analysis and/or usability studies
- Ability to lead a project or team
Education:
BS, MS or PhD combining Computer Sciences and/or Engineering with
Linguistics, Cognitive Sciences, and/or Psychology
