Applications are invited for a two-year Research Fellowship with the
possibility of a third year at the Department of Linguistics,
University of Konstanz (Germany) beginning March 1 or soon
thereafter. The Fellowship is part of the Unit of Language Structure:
Man and Machine.
Applicants should have a PhD (with expectation that the degree is in
hand by appointment date) in linguistics, neuroscience, or psychology.
Candidates should have some background in linguistics, with experience
in experimental work with brain imaging techniques (preferably with
MEG and EEG) and a good knowledge of biological signal analysis. The
successful applicant will be involved in research in language
processing (particularly in the domains of phonology and morphology)
in an interdisciplinary environment. The salary will be according to
the BAT IIa scale (around DM 5,000 p.m. before taxes, depending on
age).
