Founded in August of 1999, ejemoni, inc., a San Francisco based
start-up, has pioneered a powerful and extremely versatile Internet
infrastructure technology that the company aims to make the standard
for characterizing and matching unstructured text across the
information economy.

ejemoni's Universal Language Encoding System (ULESYS) leverages the
power of novel algorithms and proprietary domain knowledge to
automatically generate Aboutness Bar Codes that are unique to any
piece of unstructured text, from a single word to a complete book.
These Bar Codes are highly precise, quantitative representations of
all of the subject matter, both general and specific, contained within
the text.

Aboutness Bar Codes can be used to perform a multitude of operations,
enabling people and organizations to quickly browse, categorize,
search, retrieve analyze and more efficiently share information.

ejemoni, inc. seeks an experienced, motivated computational linguist
to take on the challenge of integrating and extending our
revolutionary knowledge-based technology with traditional corpus-based
techniques.

Come join an exciting research and development effort that will deploy
ULESYS across a range of products, including automatic document
categorization, document matching, WAP information retrieval, and P2P
search.
