TEMIS is a software & consulting company engaged in exciting
activities in Information Extraction, Knowledge/Document
Management, Customer Relationship Management and Competitive
Intelligence.
In order to participate in our engagements in customer contracts and
the development of Temis Text Mining software products we are looking
for a talented developer and/or computational linguist to become part
of our Frankfurt (Germany) team.
YOUR PROFILE

Creative and motivated individuals will find plenty of opportunities
to contribute to the definition and implementation of advanced solutions
in the field of information retrieval, knowledge management and
natural language processing. A ideal candidate will have industry
experience in software engineering and project-driven solution
delivery (ideally of course in the domain of natural language
processing.)
Good communicative skills in English are essential. A working
knowledge of German would be a big plus.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
________________
A degree in Computer Science, (Computational) Linguistics,
Mathematics, Statistics or related fields, or equivalent IT experience
is required as well as good programming skills (Java, C/C++,
Perl). A successful candidate will have qualifications and solid
experiences in several of the following fields:
- software development
- natural language processing (focus on finite-state, corpus-based
methods)
- machine learning, statistics
- design and implementation of formal grammars
- data bases
