RESEARCH POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN TTS

several research positions in the area of Text-to-Speech conversion are
available in the MULTITEL research institute (see http://tcts.fpms.ac.be ,
home of the Mbrola speech synthesizer). About fifty people work in this
institute on speech and image processing, networking and optic
telecommunication with the aim of becoming a technology provider.

The candidates should have the following skills:

* highly motivated and qualified in the speech area

* fundamental understanding of NLP tools (experience with Festival
appreciated)

* good programming skills (experienced in C++/C or matlab) on windows or
Linux platforms.

* ability to work effectively with our TTS team

According to the position, a good publication record in international
conferences is desirable. The positions are permanent and are available
immediately.

The work site is in Mons, Belgium. Even though we are located in a French
speaking area of Belgium we have an international team and the official
working language is English.
