StreamSage develops technology for the artificial editing of digital
media, including for purposes such as search & retrieval and the
automated personalization of broadcasts. This development involves a
significant amount of original NLP research, funded in part by the
NIST ATP program.

StreamSage is currently looking to fill a position in its R&D
department that requires background in the use of a variety of
statistical techniques to solve problems in computational lingustics
that will complement our existing expertise in symbolic approaches.
Programming experience is a strong plus. Position involves
investigations into word sense disambiguation, topic detection, corpus
analysis, the combination of speech recognition and parsing data, and
the analysis of prosodic cues.

Please send a resume and brief statement of interest to the e-mail
address above, with one of these giving detail as to your specific
areas of expertise.
