The Position:
The successful applicant will be expected to research, teach, and
administer at levels commensurate with the seniority of the position.
Applicants should be able to teach in a broad range of areas. Preference
will be given to candidates who work in logic and related areas.
Consideration may be given to applicants who work in other areas. A
suitably qualified candidate may be appointed as Associate Professor and
Reader which has the same salary range.
The Person:.
A person appointed to this position will have demonstrated research
performance at a very high level, presentation abilities consistent with
teaching excellence, and administrative capabilities. To qualify for
appointment as Associate Professor and Reader Reader, the applicant must
provide evidence of international standing and leadership in research and
scholarship in their disciplinary area.
The Benefits: Salary: $75,987 - $83,716 pa plus employer superannuation
contributions of up to 17 percent.
