applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor-Lecturer
beginning July 1, 2001. Ph.D. in linguistics required. (ABD
considered.)

Duties include teaching six courses per year. Ability to teach the
following courses required: Introduction to Syntax, Intermediate
Syntax, Introduction to Phonetics & Phonology, Introduction to
Linguistics, and another course useful to our BA and/or MA programs in
the candidate's area of research such as Semantics, Language &
Cognition, the Psychology of Language, Language in Society,

Salary competitive; full benefits. One-year contract may be
extendable to two more years; second-year renewal subject to
performance review at the end of the first year and availability of
