LECTURESHIPS IN PHILOSOPHY
(Three Posts)
Applications are invited for three lectureships in philosophy
tenable from 1 September 2001. One post is permanent
(R2314A). Two are for fixed terms: one to 30 June 2002
(R2314B), the other to 30 June 2003 (R2314C). The
appointments will be made on the Lectureship A scale (£18,731
to £23,256 pa), depending upon qualifications and experience.
Candidates with research interests in any area of philosophy are
invited to apply.
The department is young, lively, eminent, and expanding, and the
quality of its research enjoys an international reputation. It was
rated 5A in the last RAE, and scored 24 out of 24 in the QAA
