CALL FOR PAPERS
12th Irish Conference on
Artificial Intelligence & Cognitive Science.
5 September - 7 September, 2001.

The Program Committee invites submissions of papers detailing original
research in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science.
In recent years papers have been presented in the areas of: Genetic
Algorithms, Case-Based Reasoning, Intelligent Information Retrieval,
Learning, Robotics, Planning and Scheduling, and Natural Language
Processing. AICS 2001 will be held in parallel with the IMVIP (Irish Machine
Vision and Image Processing) conference, thus we welcome submissions on
Artificial Intelligence or Cognitive Science used in conjunction with
Computer Vision.
Deadline:

The final deadline for submission of camera ready copies is 15th June, 2001.
Submission format:
------------------
Submissions should comprise full papers of not more than ten A4 pages in
length (5,000 words approx.) including figures, tables and references.
Papers should be written in Times Roman 12pt at 1.5 line spacing with 2cm
margins all round. Page numbers should not be included.

We strongly encourage submissions by e-mail as postscript attachments, sent
to aics2001@cs.may.ie with subject heading `AICS2001 Submission'.
Hardcopy submission:
--------------------
Hardcopy submissions should include three copies of the paper. Please
provide an e-mail address as all communications regarding submissions will
be by e-mail. Hard-copy submissions should be sent to the following address:
