The German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH,
www.dfki.de) located in Kaiserslautern and Saarbrücken is a leading
research institution for innovative software solutions in Germany.

The Intelligent User Interfaces department (head: Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c.
Wolfgang Wahlster), located in Saarbrücken, has job openings in the
following areas

- Robust Dialogue Processing
- Multi-Modal Interactions
- Visualization in Interactive Environments

The successful candidates design and implement components in the area
of multi-modal dialogue systems in projects funded by the the German
Federal Government or the European Union, or in cooperation with our
industrial partners.

The positions require a degree in computer science, artificial
intelligence, computational linguistics, or related fields. We also
expect good programming skills (Java, C++) and the ability to
integrate in a dynamic team. The positions require a working knowledge
of German that can be acquired on the job.
