Oxford University Press' Dictionary Department is seeking to recruit a
Text Development Editor to support the licensing and partnering activities
within the Dictionary group of Trade and Reference. The successful
candidate will liaise with clients to establish requirements, specify
computational programs and postedit dictionary data.
The ideal candidate will have a good Arts or Languages degree, proficiency
in at least one modern European language and an excellent command of
English, and a proven ability to deal with complex linguistic questions.
Familiarity with on-line dictionary text, tagged text and text-editing
systems and some lexicographical experience would be advantageous.
The salary offered will be in the region of £22,000 p.a. depending on
