Assistant Professor, tenure-track, beginning Fall 2002. AOS: Philosophy
of Mind/Cognitive Science. AOC: Open, but Ancient, Aesthetics,
Metaphysics, and/or Philosophy of Language a plus. Ph.D. at time of
hire and teaching experience required. The candidate should exhibit
research promise, proven excellence in teaching and a commitment to the
development and life of the philosophy program and the new Institute of
Cognitive Science Ph.D program at UL Lafayette. Thus, empirical
experience in a cognitive science related discipline would be a
