Salary: £17,626 - £26,491 pa

It is proposed to appoint one postdoctoral fellowships for tenure within the Arché research centre (director: Prof. Crispin Wright) in the
School of Philosophical and Anthropological Studies. The award, which is open to analytical philosophers world-wide, will be tenable
for three years.

Applicants must propose a definite programme of research in connection with Arché's new project on Vagueness: its Nature and Logic
and must have obtained or expect to obtain their PhD by 1 September 2003. Details concerning the project and further particulars
about the post are available from Human Resources or from the Arché website ( www.st-and.ac.uk/arche~arche).

Successful applicants will take up post as from 1 September 2003 or from such a date as may be agreed with the Arché Director.
