Surrey (www.ee.surrey.ac.uk/CVSSP) offers a PhD studentship for UK or EU
citizens in Speech and Audio Processing.

The research concerns a project to exploit sound-quality attributes for
improving speech recognition accuracy. Candidates should hold a 1st or
2-1 honours degree or Masters degree in Electronic Engineering or related
discipline. The closing date for applications is Monday 13 January 2003.
