The Translation Team Manager is a working manager for a team of 8+
European in-house linguists. Management responsibilities consists of
assuring daily work assignments are completed in a quality and timely
manner, assessing the capacity and performance of team members, and
pro-active hiring, training and performance management efforts for the
team. The Team Leader also contributes as a linguist in providing
editing, proof-reading, and quality assurance support on financial and
medical translation/localization projects.

REQUIREMENTS

-3 languages for European/Latin American language linguists: native
language, English and 1 language
-Strong computer skills in word-processing, desktop publishing and
translation tools required.
-Demonstrable translating competency and proven ability to edit and
proofread technical documentation.
-Strong organizational, time management, spoken and written
communication skills.
-2+ years proven experience managing.
-Accredited translation school degree.
-Minimum 4 years of translation/localization experience.
