DEPARTMENT OF PHILOSOPHY Two Lectureships in Philosophy Ref: EA0218
Applications are invited for two lectureships. Post one is a permanent
lecturer A post. Post two is a two-year (1 October 2002 - 30 September
2004) lecturer A post. Applicants should be competent to teach some of
the following areas: continental philosophy (especially phenomenology),
philosophy of language, philosophy of religion, philosophy of
mathematics, philosophy of physics, elementary logic; but those with
specialist expertise in other areas are not excluded. The Department of
Philosophy has received high grades in recent reviews of teaching and
research - attaining 24/24 in the QAA Review of teaching quality, and
grade 5 in the RAE 2001 review of research. Informal enquiries for these
