The School of Computer Applications is seeking researchers to fill
several positions at Senior Lecturer and Lecturer level. Researchers
will have access to new and very generous funding programmes from the
Irish Government, and will enjoy a stimulating and supportive
environment for research. Appointees will initially be expected to
spend much of their time developing a personal and/or collaborative
research programme and will be eligible for immediate tenure. We
welcome applications from researchers in any area of computing or
quantitative methods, but especially in any of the following:

· Dependable Systems
· Modelling and Scientific Computing
· Digital Multimedia and Information Management
· Computing Language and Intelligence

Applicants should normally have completed or be about to complete a
Ph.D. in any area of computing or quantitative methods, or have a
good track record of leading research programmes in these fields in
industry or academia. Successful overseas applicants will be given
re-location assistance including help securing visas, work-permits,
