Applications are invited for two openings: (1) a professor or advanced
associate professor position and (2) an ANTICIPATED assistant
professor, tenure-track, position. Both appointments will begin fall
2003. The following description applies to both positions; if authorized,
the junior appointment will complement the specialization of the senior
appointment.

AOS: philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, or epistemology.
AOC: logic and one or more of the following: classical British
empiricism, metaphysics, philosophy of language, American philosophy.
5 courses/year (maximum of 2 preps/semester), undergraduate and
graduate. Usual non-teaching duties.
