Visiting Assistant Professor/ Scientific & Philosophical Studies of
Mind (SPM). The Department of Psychology at Franklin & Marshall
College announces a one-year (July 2003 =96 June 2004) visiting
appointment in its research-oriented undergraduate program. The
appointment is in the Department of Psychology, with teaching in the
SPM program. The position is contingent on funding. The successful
candidate will show evidence of exemplary research and teaching at the
interface of psychology and philosophy (e.g., neuropsychology,
cognitive science, or ecological psychology). Training in philosophy is
desirable. Responsibilities involve teaching a five course per year
teaching load in the interdisciplinary SPM major, including an
interdisciplinary capstone course, and courses in area of
specialization. Extensive research facilities and support available.
Initiation and supervision of undergraduate research expected. Review
