Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position to work on an =
interdisciplinary project funded by an award from the Arts and =
Humanities Research Board (AHRB). The project aims to develop =
personalised digital library services that can accommodate the needs of =
users with different cognitive styles. The work will involve both system =
development and empirical studies. The candidate must have an MSc or PhD =
degree in computer science, information science or a related discipline. =
Knowledge in artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction is =
essential and experience in developing software for personalised =
applications is also desirable.
The appointment will be for three years and will be made at the RA1A =
level with salary in the range =A318,265 to =A327,349. The post will =
begin on 1 September 2003 or as soon as possible thereafter. Informal =
