Lecturership in Philosophy
Department Of Philosophy

Applications are invited for a fixed-term Lecturership in Philosophy. You must be able to teach Metaphysics to 2nd year students.
Competence to teach any of Ancient Philosophy, Philosophy of Language, Logic, Philosophy of Maths and Philosophy of Science would
also be an advantage. You will be expected to teach three undergraduate modules (one per term), to act as a supervisor for undergraduate
students, and to take part in the Department's research activities. There may be an opportunity to teach on the MA programme as well.

The appointment will be for 9 months from 1st October 2003. The salary will be within the range of £23,296 to £25,451 per annum
(reduced pro rata) within the Lecturer Grade A scale.
