Chair in Computer Science

Applications are invited from outstanding candidates with research interests
either in Speech Technology or in Theoretical Computer Science for a chair
in the Department of Computer Science (rated 5 in the 2001 UK Research
Assessment Exercise). The appointee will have an international research
standing and be able to enhance links both within and beyond the University
and with industry. In addition to research, the appointee will be expected
to take part in teaching and curriculum development at both undergraduate
and postgraduate levels.
