The Department of TESOL and Applied Linguistics has a one-year
visiting available for a candidate with a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics
or closely related field. Teaching assignments will include
participation in MA-level courses in TESOL methodology, a course in
applied English phonology, and an additional course in the candidate's
area(s) of specialization. Candidates should have an established
research agenda within the fields of TESOL and Applied Linguistics
demonstrated by publications and presentations. Documented excellence
in teaching and classroom ESL/EFL teaching experience is also
required. Applicants should send a statement of interest, curriculum
vitae, sample publications, and three letters of recommendation by
March 20, 2004 for interview at TESOL to Professor Kathleen
