Do you want to make $12/hour rating tests?

The Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) is working with Equipped for
the Future to develop a work readiness test in English for entry-level
workers. CAL is looking for six people to rate test taker responses
from our recently administered pilot test.

Rater training will take place at CAL located at 4646 40th Street NW,
Washington, D.C. on August 8th and 9th. Scoring will take place on
August 10th-12th. Candidates must show an ability to rate consistently
to take part in the entire rating process.

Qualifications:
Candidate must posses a BA/BS or higher

Must be a native speaker of English

No experience in rating oral proficiency necessary

Must be available for two days of training and three days of rating,
as outlined above

Must be able to listen to recordings and use a computer

Compensation will be $12/hour. Candidate will perform as an
independent contractor and not as an agent or employee of the Center
for Applied Linguistics.
