UNIVERSITY COLLEGE CORK, IRELAND
Two one year MSc research positions are available at the Cork Constraint
Computation Centre, associated with a project funded by Enterprise Ireland.
The project focuses on developing a set of tools to support risk-managed
combinatorial auctions.
The ideal applicants will have a strong background in constraint
programming, integer programming and constraint optimisation. As well as the
scientific background required mentioned above, it is important that the
candidates have experience in object-oriented programming. A significant
part of the work to be undertaken by the successful applicants involves
developing a platform for supporting risk-managed combinatorial auctions.
Prospective applicants should email their resume to:
Barry O'Sullivan (b.osullivan@cs.ucc.ie) by August 31st 2005.
