JOB OPENINGS AT UNIVERSITY OF AUGSBURG

The University of Augsburg is seeking two highly motivated and qualified
research scientists to join the Multimedia Concepts and Applications Lab
at the Computer Science Faculty. One position is related to a European
project in the area of technology-enhanced learning, the other one to a
elite study programme in computer science.

Applicants should have a graduate degree (BSC, MA, MSC, Diplom, PhD) in
Computer Science or a related discipline. Furthermore, they should have
a strong background in at least one of the following areas: speech-based
dialogue systems, perceptive interfaces or computer vision. Programming
skills are essential.

For candidates without doctoral degree, rapid achievement of such a
degree is desired and will be definitely supported.

Our team has a long term experience in multimedia interfaces,
conversational agents, user modelling, and user motion tracking. More

The city of Augsburg

located in the south of Germany and offers many recreational and
cultural attractions in its immediate environment.

One position is available from March 2006. The other one from mid 2006.
The salary is according to the German BAT IIa (A13) scale, which depends
