The purpose of the job is to provide 2nd level support to company
staff throughout all of Ireland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, test and commission local IT infrastructures.
Troubleshoot when application and equipment failures occur.
Installing and configuring desktops / laptops / peripherals / networking devices.
Ensuring all calls are logged in the helpdesk system and that calls are completed within the SLAs.
Asset management and documentation of procedures / policies etc
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have a full clean driving licence.
Must have a 3rd Level Qualification in IT.
The applicant must have a willingness to travel to remote sites in Ireland.
Min of 2-3 years experience in a customer focussed support role.
The applicant must have excellent knowledge in the following areas:
Windows XP / Office 2003 / Networking
Have a technical competency in desktop and server operating systems and other software used within the businesses.
The applicant must have some knowledge in the following areas:
Wireless networking / WAN technology / Active Directory / Server support backups etc
