The Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) is conducting a study to
determine the various forms of BEST Literacy test are comparable with
each other. CAL is looking for 2 people to rate test taker responses
from our recently administered test.
Rater training and scoring will take place at CAL located at 4646 40th
Street NW, Washington, DC on May 11th-12th. Candidates must show an
ability to rate consistently to take part in the entire rating
process. Candidates must be present on both days.
Qualifications:
Candidate must posses a BA/BS or higher
Must have experience with ESL students
Must be available for two days of training and rating, as outlined above
Compensation will be $10/hour. Candidate will perform as an independent contractor and not as an agent or employee of the Center for Applied Linguistics.
