Research Assistant/Associate in Large Scale Information Extraction
Across Media
Salary: From £20,235 - £30,607 per annum
The vacancy concerns the extraction of information from textual
documents, as well as across media (images and data). The post is
associated to the Integrated Project X-Media
(http://www.x-media-project.org/www.x-media-project.org), one of the
largest projects funded by the European Union as part of Framework 6,
Knowledge and Content Technologies. The post holder will participate
in the X-Media project, developing models, algorithms and programs for
large scale information extraction, running experiments and developing
applications. Applicants must have a good first degree (or
equivalent) in Computer Science and excellent programming skills in
Java. . This post is available for possibility of extension on the same project.
