Salary: $45,000 to $65,000 FTE per annum, depending upon qualifications

Position Available: Immediately

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

The person in this position will provide project coordination support to the leadership team of a large multi-faceted project related to a major national test of English language proficiency for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Duties include overseeing project expenditures and tracking budget; coordinating the scheduling of project tasks and tracking project deadlines; and tracking project quality control procedures. The work requires substantial regular interaction with a three-member leadership team and frequent interaction with other project staff.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Collecting supporting information for the development of the annual project budget
*Assisting in the development of the annual project budget
*Tracking expenses against the budget using the electronic Solomon system
*Assisting in the development of tasks and timelines for project activities
*Assisting in the development of staffing plans
*Tracking completion of scheduled project tasks
*Tracking completion of project deliverables
*Assisting in the development of quality control procedures related to the project
*Tracking compliance to established quality control procedures
*Identifying needed resources for the completion of project tasks
*Leading regular project meetings to update project staff on the status of the project
*Reporting regularly to the leadership team on the status of budget, schedules and quality control issues
*Developing written reports on budget, scheduling, and quality control procedures as required


QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master's degree or equivalent experience in relevant area.

Experience: 2-4 years experience in project coordination, preferably in a not-for-profit organization. Work experience should include substantial responsibility in tracking project budgets, scheduling project tasks, and ensuring that project quality standards are adhered to. Familiarity with budgeting software required, experience with Solomon a plus. Familiarity with project management software required, experience with Microsoft Project Manager a plus.

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be flexible, organized, attentive to detail, and a team player. Must be available for infrequent travel to project meetings. Must be willing to learn new software as required.
