PhD Positions available
The Language, Interaction and Computation group (CLIC) of the Center
for Mind/Brain Sciences (CIMeC) at the University of Trento announces
the availability of funded studentships in the 3-year Cognitive and
Brain Sciences doctoral program.
The CLIC students will focus on Linguistics and Human Language
Technology, pursuing a highly interdisciplinary approach that links
technological advances in language engineering with experimental
methods from cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience.
Topics of interest for the fellowships are:
- coreference resolution and language technology
- semantic fields in lexicography, computer science and cognition
- formal and quantitative models of human language
- spoken dialogue interaction
