Syllabs is seeking a highly motivated software developer (BS or MS) in the area of NLP and Information Processing for the development of high-quality industrial tools.
The ideal candidate will actively be involved in the development of innovative NLP and information processing tools with a clear focus on the industrialization of prototypes.
Excellent design and programming skills are expected as well as a deep interest in optimization.
Recent graduates are welcome to apply. An experience in the following domains would be an asset: Optimization, Information Extraction or Information Retrieval, Statistical Methods, Machine Learning.

The successful candidate will have the following profile:
- MS or BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Strong programming skills in C++
- Windows and Linux development experience
- Solid background in compilers, transducers and formal grammars
- A strong ability to work effectively and independently and to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and an ability to work well as part of a team
- Basic command of French (at least good comprehension)
Additional desirable attributes:
- Other languages will be a plus.
- Previous participation in industrialization of tools
- Script languages (Perl, Python)
