The Department of Psychology at Arizona State University anticipates
the availability of a one-year postdoctoral position (with the
possibility of an extension pending availability of funding)
beginning in the Fall of 2008. The primary duties are a) to work
with Dr. Arthur Glenberg on an NSF-funded, reading comprehension
project examining efficacy of an in-school reading intervention, and
b) to conduct related research. The ideal candidate will have a) a
PhD degree in cognitive psychology, cognitive development,
educational psychology, or a related field, b) experience conducting
research on reading comprehension and reading comprehension
interventions, and c) skill in data analysis including multiple
regression and HLM. The yearly salary will be $35,000 to $40,000
(depending on experience), and the position includes health insurance
benefits.
