We are seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer or Reader (depending on track
record and qualifications) in Natural Language Processing with an excellent
research track record and teaching experience in Computational Linguistics
and Natural Language Processing.

Applicants at Reader level should have an outstanding publication record,
the ability to lead a research team and experience with grant applications
and securing funding.

In addition to managing a new Master's programme in Natural Language
Processing and teaching on this programme, the successful candidate will
also act as Project Manager of one ongoing research project. Other duties
will include collaborative research and producing first class
research/publications, grant applications and PhD student/researcher
supervision.

Programming experience in the area of NLP applications is desirable and
commercial experience or involvement with industry would be an advantage.
