Center of the City University of New York invites applications for a senior
speech scientist specializing in any area of basic or applied speech
perception or production research focusing on infants, children, or adults.
An interest in collaborative mentoring of students in language or hearing
science and in faculty research collaborations is desirable.
Responsibilities include establishing a state-of-the-art laboratory at The
Graduate Center, teaching doctoral courses, and supervising doctoral
research. A Ph.D. is required for this position along with a strong record
of publications, a record of extramural funding, and experience
teaching/mentoring doctoral students. The tenured appointment will be made
at the rank of Associate or Full Professor and will begin Fall 2010. A
particularly strong candidate may be nominated as a Distinguished
Professor. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The position will be open until filled, with review of applications to

Founded in 1961, the Graduate Center of the City University of New York
