The Computing Laboratory at Oxford University proposes to appoint a University
Lecturer in Computing Science (Information Systems) as soon as possible. The
successful candidate will be appointed to a Tutorial Fellowship at St Hugh?s
College, under arrangements described in the further particulars. The combined
University and college salary will be on a scale up to ?56,917 per annum.

Preference will be given to applicants with a strong background in computational
linguistics, information retrieval, or machine learning. The successful
candidate will be expected to contribute to the activities of the Information
Systems group.
