GradEast Graduate School in Linguistics welcomes applications for 3 visiting PhD
studentships in Copenhagen in 2010 within linguistics, modern languages and
related areas.

The studentships:
GradEast will be able to cover costs of accommodation and tuition/supervision
fees for three non-Danish PhD students in the spring or autumn semester 2010.
The relevant periods run from mid-January to 30th June and mid-August to
mid-December. Applications are invited for a full semester or any part thereof
longer than 2 months. It is a requirement that applicants should already be
enrolled as PhD students at their home institution.

Application:
The application must contain the following:
-Description of the applicant's research project
-Description of activities/supervision intended while in Copenhagen
-Period of stay proposed
-Affirmation of status as PhD student from the home institution, including a
letter of recommendation by principal supervisor

Selection will be based on merits and the match between the project/activities
and the research environments of the three institutions of GradEast.

Applicants will be informed of the result by October 20th 2009.
