in high-performance computing (HPC) applied to natural language processing
at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. The selected candidate is expected
to work in collaboration with the ?cole Polytechnique F?d?rale de Lausanne
(EPFL) and the UNDL Foundation in designing and implementing efficient HPC
methods for extracting and processing multilingual resources for machine
translation, information retrieval and knowledge representation to be used
in the UNL framework.



The ideal candidate should have a master degree in Computer Science (or
equivalent); familiarity with distributed and parallel computing; good
programming skills in Java; good knowledge of English (written and spoken);
interest in algorithms and statistical natural language processing; and
ability to meet deadlines and to work in a collaborative environment.
Proficiency in French will be a plus.



Candidates should send the CV and a motivation letter to

expected to start working from October 1st. The salary will be in accordance
with the rules of the University of Geneva for academic personnel.
