Researcher required for short-term position in the National Centre for
Language Technology, School of Computing, Dublin City University
A short-term research position (June-August) has opened up in the
National Centre for Language Technology, Dublin City University. The
work involves the creation of a set of pre-processing tools for social
media text (tweets and discussion forum posts) and the integration of
these tools into a natural language parsing system. The pre-processing
involves automatic sentence boundary detection, word tokenisation and
spelling correction. Good programming skills and some experience in
natural language processing are essential. Salary will be commensurate
with experience. The work needs to be completed in August and started
