Information Security Analyst / Consultant Role (Graduate Level or
Experienced Hire)
Starting: September 2012
The Deloitte Information Security & Privacy team provides specialist
advice to companies throughout Ireland across all areas of Information
Security and technology risk. We regularly work with the largest
organisations throughout Ireland across all sectors to reduce their
business and technology risks through the effective use of people,
processes and technology.
Our highly skilled and rapidly expanding team, based in Dublin, offers
an opportunity to work across many varied industries with
responsibility for meeting our client's expectations. You will work
alongside our industry experts on a variety of projects from risk
assessment and penetration testing through to cyber security and cloud
security engagements.
To meet the growing demands of our high-profile client base, we are
currently looking for a number of candidates with exceptional
analytical skills to join our team. We are particularly interested in
people with a keen eye for detail, who like juggling lots of tasks and
who can handle the challenge of delivering quality results to
demanding timescales.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
The preferred candidate will have, or be looking to obtain a Masters
in Information Security or similar technical degree.
The candidate will be able to leverage his/her technical knowledge and
problem solving ability to derive meaningful solutions for clients.
The candidate should be able to produce high quality work product
within demanding timescales.
The candidate will also need to demonstrate outstanding analytical
skills, structured thinking, commercial acumen, the ability to work in
a team and a proactive attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on
reporting. The candidate will need to possess problem solving,
conceptual thinking capabilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage
change.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with
professionals at all levels.

Information Security Risk Assessments (based on ISO 27001, COBIT etc.)
Web Application Assessments & Penetration Testing engagements
Architecture and Security Testing
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Planning
Forensics, eDiscovery and Cyber security engagements
Policies and Standards Development
Information Security Management
Cloud Computing Security & Compliance
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
Privacy and Data Protection Engagement
