REVENUE ASSURANCE ANALYST
DUBLIN
Airtricity is Ireland's fastest-growing, greenest and largest
independent energy provider, supplying almost 820,000 domestic and
commercial gas, electricity and home energy services customers in the
Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Airtricity is the cheapest supplier of home electricity and dual fuel
home energy (gas and electricity) in the Republic of
Ireland. Airtricity Home Energy Services, its dedicated Boiler & Home
Services Division, is Airtricity's newest business and carried out
over 20,000 gas boiler services last year.
Airtricity is a wholly-owned division of SSE plc, the broadest-based
energy utility in the UK, with interests and experience in electricity
and gas production, distribution, supply and services. The Top 40
FTSE-listed company has over 11,000MW of electricity generation,
distributes electricity to 3.5 million homes and businesses and
supplies electricity, gas and related services to around 10 million
customers.
At present an opportunity has arisen for a Revenue Assurance Analyst
to support the development, implementation and maintenance of
processes and procedures to minimise potential loss through leakage of
revenues.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Pricing Team this role will be primarily responsible
for providing the following support functions to the business.
Revenue Assurance
Ensuring appropriate revenue capture and accuracy linking volumes and charges to costs
Prevent revenue leakage by auditing and reviewing the integrity of the billing tariff system
Support the development, implementation and maintenance of processes and contribute to
procedures that will minimise potential loss
Ensure tariffs are aligned and billed as per defined structure
Lead auditor for all Airtricity price changes
Assist the Settlements team with related cost validation
Manage and develop appropriate tariff and customer segmentation processes to assist on
analysis both within Pricing, Finance and across the business
Reporting
Work with IT to provide a suite of revenue reports and audits to enhance the overall revenue
assurance processes
Provide regular reports to management on status of tariff base, trends and anomalies
Provide regulatory returns when requested from the relevant bodies.
Other
As part of the Pricing and Finance section further involvement and responsibilities are likely to
arise as the business develops.
Candidate Profile
3rd level qualification in a business discipline preferable
Strong business process experience, be highly motivated and interested in identifying issues,
investigating and solving them. You will be pro-active, with strong communication, analytical,
problem solving and decision-making skills.
Advanced Microsoft excel skills is essential
User Acceptance testing and Billing knowledge highly desirable
Project experience
Very strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong numerical skills
Experience of working across departments and with third parties
Delivering accurate and reliable results within deadlines
A proven high level of experience in Microsoft Office
