PhD and MSc scholarships in NLP and Computational Linguistics are
available at the NLP Lab, IPN, Mexico City.

The amount of scholarship is sufficient for normal living in Mexico City.
The scholarship is not a loan and does not require any service such as
teaching assistance.
Duration of scholarship: 4 years PhD, 2 years MSc; can be both (6 years).
MSc program is research-oriented, publishing research papers is encouraged.
Teaching is in English or Spanish, by your choice. Knowledge of
Spanish is not required.
Advisor can be external; i.e., you (professor) can continue advising
your students that enroll in this program, or you (student) can choose
any advisor in the world. Ideal for students that have a good advisor
but need a scholarship, or for professors who want to retain a good
student who needs a scholarship.
Possibility of research stays abroad is expected, with about 50%
increase of scholarship for the time of stay.
Admission can be for Spring or Fall semester.
