Howdy.

This week's 8pm Wednesday Mahaffy's reading group will happen
one week from today. Martin describes the paper as follows:

"Introductory chapter (23 pages) of 'Events', a collection of papers
on events, edited by Casati and Varzi (1996, Dartmouth Publishing
Company). It introduces the topic which the articles in the collection
address at length, such as the

- the role of events in natural language semantics
- the individuation of events
- events and causation
- events and processes"

It's available outside the lab.
