TCD Computational Linguistics Group
The
Computational Linguistics Group focuses on basic research on
human language and reasoning.
The group is interested
in understanding and modeling human cognitive abilities, as
well as in engineering applications that can be realized as the fruit
of successful scientific research in cognitive science and philosophy
of language.

Postgraduate Opportunities
- Taught Courses
- Degrees by Research
Qualified students may be admitted for a postgraduate degree by research in an area of computational linguistics in which suitable supervision is available. The M.Sc. is generally a two year commitment while the Ph.D. takes at least three years. Each involves a significant research based dissertation, and the opportunity to take foundational courses as well as to participate in relevant seminars and reading groups. - Past Postgraduate Projects Additional information on our research interests and collaborations with postgraduate students is available here.
